Different than the original film, the last two Jumanji movies have thrown the main cast into the world of the titular video game, forcing them to fight off terrifying enemies and escape back to the real world. However, as the first trailer for Jumanji: Open World reveals, it's time for the video game world and the real-world to collide. In Oct. 2024, Sony Pictures confirmed that the Jumanji franchise would move forward into a fourth movie, which was revealed to be titled Jumanji: Open World in Apr. Sony Pictures officially released the first trailer for Jumanji: Open World. Jumanji: Open World will debut in theaters on Dec. 11, 2026.
