GRAND FORKS — The first-seeded West Fargo Rattlers faced an uphill battle entering Tuesday afternoon's American Legion Junior state tournament championship against the fourth-seeded Grand Forks Blues. After staving off elimination by defeating the second-seeded Bismarck Americans on Monday, West Fargo had to beat Grand Forks twice to win the title.
