Gateway Mining has put its foot on the accelerator at its Yandal Gold project in Western Australia, commissioning a second reverse circulation (RC) drill rig to get to grips with its burgeoning Cowza gold discovery. The confirmation came from wide-spaced air-core drilling that demonstrated strong continuity of gold mineralisation along every drill traverse completed to date. Several of these discoveries are advancing towards fresh-rock RC drilling, reflecting Gateway’s shift from making new discoveries to defining their scale and potential. The commencement of a second RC rig marks an important milestone as Gateway moves into a new phase of exploration.
