New House Care Home, run by East Riding of Yorkshire Council, was praised by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) for its safe, person-centred environment and compassionate approach. Councillor Jonathan Owen, cabinet member for adults, health and care at East Riding of Yorkshire Council, said: "We are delighted that New House Care Home has been recognised as Good across all five areas assessed by the Care Quality Commission. "I would like to thank everyone at New House, as well as residents and their families, for their continued support and contribution to this positive result. "The council remains committed to continually improving its adult social care services and building on this positive inspection outcome to ensure residents continue to receive safe, high-quality care." The home, which provides specialist support and care for people requiring nursing or personal care, including people with learning disabilities, was rated 'Good' in all five assessed areas: safe, effective, caring, responsive, and well-led.
