The Three Legged Mare is York CAMRA’s Cider Pub of the Year - an award it also received in 2024. York CAMRA Branch chairman Chris Tregellis said: “The Three Legged Mare is one of those great survivors in a period of considerable change in the pub scene. Chris continued: “Thus is CAMRA Cider Month and therefore an appropriate time to enjoy a cider during the hot summer days. A previously reported, the Cider Pub of the Year in 2025 was the Slip Inn in Clementhorpe. The 2026 York CAMRA City Pub of the Year went to the Last Drop Inn at Colliergate, York.
