The Big Bear Run, a 10k event raising funds for Project Moon Bear, will take place at Askham Bryan Wildlife and Conservation Park in York on Sunday, August 16, 2026. Project Moon Bear is dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating Asiatic black bears in South Korea. "Project Moon Bear does so much work to care for ex-bear-bile bears, and if we can just help them make an impact, then we can make a positive difference. "Conservation is at the heart of everything we do, and this is the largest-scale event we have ever run. "We are thankful to be partnering with Curlys Run, who have helped make this all possible!
