An engineering prototype of Microsoft’s Surface Laptop Ultra has produced the most detailed early performance data yet for NVIDIA’s upcoming RTX Spark platform.
The EV1.5 sample reportedly combines a 20-core Arm processor with an integrated Blackwell GPU containing 6,144 CUDA cores.
Its reported power configuration permits an 80W sustained platform limit and 95W short-term limit, although the GPU is restricted to approximately 50W by NVIDIA Max-Q.
Game testing exhibited periodic stutter, while several CUDA workloads failed to finish.
It allows CPU and GPU workloads to access one pool without duplicating assets across system RAM and VRAM.
