Last fall, the 35-year-old achieved a decade-long dream of qualifying for the Olympic Trials in the marathon with a 2:34:27 performance at the Indianapolis Marathon, years after stalling out at 2:52 and thinking the goal was out of reach.

“I think Hyrox has been great for me in terms of, it’s been a mindshift away from smaller is better,” she says.

But that doesn’t mean she’s not excited to line up at the Olympic Trials in 2028.
