The Air Accidents Investigation Branch (AAIB) provided an update on the investigation more than a year on. The AAIB said: "Once airborne, it immediately deviated to the left of the runway centreline in a climbing left turn. The investigation is examining technical, operational, human and organisational factors that may have contributed to the loss of control. All evidence gathered so far, including witness video and CCTV, is being analysed, and the investigation is ongoing. Southend Airport was closed for several days following the crash while emergency services worked at the scene.
