Met Office reveals how hot it will be in Essex today as heat health alert in place

Temperatures in Essex are climbing to 34C in some areas, with weather experts warning of significant impacts due to the "very hot, locally exceptionally hot" conditions.
A spokesman for the Met Office said: "It will also feel humid, although onshore breezes will keep coastal areas a little fresher.
"Despite largely clear skies, many places will have another warm or very warm night, especially in large towns and cities, with the humid conditions persisting."
