Musa Ahmed was among six family members, including three adults and three children, who got into difficulty in the water near Seaview Avenue in West Mersea on Wednesday, July 22. The incident also claimed the lives of 41-year-old Shelina Rahman and her 15-year-old daughter Sameeha, both from Ilford, London. The seven-year-old was airlifted to hospital, where he remained in critical condition before tragically passing away.
