D.C.’s 90-day moratorium on Pepco bills ended Tuesday, meaning Pepco can turn off the power for customers who are late on their bills. However, while the moratorium gave residents a pause on paying the bills, it did not offer bill forgiveness. Pepco also offers a tool on their website called "Assistance Finder" to help customers look for ways to save money or get help with their bills. Pepco and the Salvation Army have also partnered together to offer a Pepco Customer Relief Fund.
