Salisbury - Gail (Rath) Feigenbaum, age 67, formerly of Andover, passed away July 24, 2026 at her home in Salisbury, MA, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Springfield, MA on Feb. 5, 1959, daughter of the late Solomon and Hertha (Anderlik) Rath. She was a professor emerita of early childhood education at Northern Essex Community College, where she had served on the faculty since 1986 and as the coordinator of the Early Childhood Education program since 2001, before retiring in 2020. As NECC President Glenn said when Gail received emerita status: "If you visit any Early Childhood Center in the Merrimack Valley, it's a given that you will meet passionate, caring teachers who are Gail's former students." Gail is survived by her husband of 40 years Mark A. Feigenbaum; her two sons, James J. Feigenbaum and his wife Alexandra Steinlight of Newton, MA and Tom S. Feigenbaum and his wife Carolyn Lovvoll of NYC; her brother David Rath and his wife Hyeran Rath of Los Angeles; grandchildren, Theo and Tobias; father-in-law Maurice J. Feigenbaum of Jupiter, FL; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
