The important bitsBoth Leyton station and Leyton Midland Road are in zone three, but the former is on the Central line while the latter runs on the Overground Suffragette line. From Leyton, it takes 11 minutes to Liverpool Street and 20 minutes to Oxford Street, so it's a quick commute to central London. Leyton Midland Road will take you to parts of north and east London; head east for Wanstead Park and Barking, and west for Blackhorse Road and Gospel Oak. The schools in Leyton are also a draw for those with families, with OFSTED awarding many of the local schools Outstanding (Willow Brook, Riverley and Newport Primary schools to name a few).
