Patriot Resources has acquired a new licence in the Zambian Copperbelt, hosted in similar stratigraphy as Ivanhoe Mines giant Kamoa copper mine in the DRC. One hole delivered a solid 17 metre hit at 0.41 per cent copper, 4.7 grams per tonne (g/t) silver and 0.30 per cent zinc from 29m. That interval included a higher-grade core of 7 metres grading 0.78 per cent copper, 5.1g/t silver and 0.38 per cent zinc from 30m. The addition of a Zambian copper play looks to have completed a trifecta of near-term activity priorities for Patriot.
