The Tbilisi City Court has handed down days-long prison sentences and fines to anti-government protesters detained over posters in central Tbilisi.
A total of 11 people were detained outside Tbilisi City Council on Sunday and Monday.
Tornike Toshkhua was fined ₾3,000 ($1,100), Marine Nanava, Sandro Sekhniashvili, and Vaso Beridze were each fined ₾5,000 ($1,900), and Mariam Mekantsishvili was fined ₾6,000 ($2,300).
Court bailiffs forcibly removed some of those present, including activist Ruska Mchedlidze, who was filmed being escorted out by several bailiffs.
