Samsung has started rolling out a new software update for one of its latest flagship rugged tablets, the Galaxy Tab Active 5. It improves the device’s security by offering the July 2026 security patch, which addresses 57 security issues present in the previous firmware. Samsung seems to be rolling it out first in its home country, South Korea. You can check for its availability manually by going to Settings > Software update > Check for updates. Samsung launched the Galaxy Tab Active 5 with One UI 6 (Android 14).
