Gains in revenue per shipment and tonnage shipped at Fort Smith-based ArcBest helped boost second-quarter revenue up almost 16% for the shipping and logistics company. Adjusted net income in the quarter was $53.577 million, up 71.6% compared with $31.211 million in the same quarter of 2025. Adjusted operating income in the quarter was $72.295 million, also better than the $51.029 million in the same quarter of 2025. “Revenue per shipment benefited from the heavier freight profile and a higher revenue per hundredweight, largely reflecting higher fuel surcharge revenue. Adjusted operating income in the quarter was $6.324 million, well ahead of the $1.133 million in the same period of 2025.
