Yesterday, we saw Capcom release sales figures for two of its latest releases, Pragmata and Resident Evil Requiem, via the company's Q1 2026 financial report.
This morning, the Japanese company's stock rose roughly 19 percent after the company reported its operating profit of ¥41.1bn ($251m) for the quarter ended June.
This is driven, as Capcom mentioned yesterday, by the fact "strong new and catalog title performance led to [year-on-year] growth in unit sales."
Part of the game's success is pinned on pre-release marketing and 'the appeal of [Pragmata's] main character, Diana', which Capcom believes helped push sales of the game in local and international markets.
This isn't the first we've heard about a potential Pragmata sequel, either: back in May, director Yonghee Cho noted he'd "of course" love to work on a sequel.
