Koei Tecmo has been on a roll recently, with heavy hitters like Nioh 3 and Dynasty Warriors: Origins elevating established IPs while surprising collaborations like Pokémon Pokopia have become viral sensations.
According to the latest financial report from the company, however, fans should expect variety over a deluge of large-scale games.
In the short to mid-term, Koei Tecmo says it aims to release "six major console and PC titles, 19 mid-range titles, and two (already announced) original online and mobile titles".
When compared to whatever is happening in the Western games industry, it sounds like a very sensible approach on paper, yet Koei Tecmo still has high expectations for the third Attack on Titan game and Wo Long 2, which should be its next two triple-A releases.
Even taking those three titles into account, Koei Tecmo's comments suggest we'll be hearing about several other high-profile titles sooner rather than later.
