Michelle Love-Patel, general manager of Alice Court in Eastbourne, abseiled 115 feet down Peacehaven Cliffs on Saturday, September 27, to raise funds for International Animal Rescue (IAR), based in Uckfield. Despite sunny weather, gusty winds made the descent more daunting, especially as Ms Love-Patel has a fear of heights. Michelle has raised £295 for the International Animal Rescue charity, which is based in Uckfield. (Image: Avery Healthcare)She was cheered on by Charlotte Taylor, deputy manager at Alice Court. International Animal Rescue is a Uckfield-based charity focused on rescuing animals from suffering and protecting habitats for the wellbeing of both people and the planet.
