Elsewhere at the CAC Games, swimmer Elan Daley finished sixth in the women’s 50 metres freestyle A final in 25.91sec. Her team-mate Madelyn Moore won the women’s 50 freestyle B final in 26.17. In the men’s 200 individual medley B final, Elijah Daley won in 2:05.70, with Sam Williamson second in 2:07.40. At the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, Caitlyn Bobb finished sixth in her women’s 400 metres heat in 54.94 to qualify for the semi-finals. In swimming, Jack Harvey finished fifth in his semi-final in the men’s 100 metres backstroke at the Tollcross International Swimming Centre.
