Mells Café in Frome, located next to the village shop and Post Office, will officially reopen to the public on Wednesday, August 12, after being closed since mid‑April.
Frome‑based entrepreneur Lauren Bradley is taking over the reins, promising locally sourced coffee, freshly prepared food, and a welcoming space for residents, walkers, and visitors exploring the Somerset countryside.
(Image: Mells Cafe / How We Roll)Lauren, who launched her own mobile food business, How We Roll, in March, said the move into the café felt like a milestone.
She said: "It’s hard to believe that after going mobile with my business in March, it is already expanding into a café.
Coffee will come from Loud Mouth Coffee in Frome, and the café’s freshly made sandwich menu will be built around ingredients from local producers.
