Persimmon Homes Severn Valley, the developer behind the Tor View scheme, has donated £2,000 to Castle Cary RFC in Somerset as part of its Community Champions programme. Greg Power, chairman of Castle Cary RFC, said: "We are so grateful to Persimmon for once again supporting us as a local sports club in Castle Cary. Persimmon Homes Severn Valley, the developer behind the new Tor View scheme in Castle Cary, has donated £2,000 to the village’s rugby club, making a significant contribution to its fundraising efforts for a new gym. Castle Cary RFC has been seeking external funding to upgrade its gym. Persimmon has been building at its Tor View site off Station Road since the beginning of the year.
