North Town Primary School's team celebrated the win in Clevedon on Thursday, July 9. The team was a mix of experienced players, including two in the Somerset pathway, and newcomers to the sport. A spokesperson for North Town Primary School said: "Every single player contributed, supported one another, and played with determination, enthusiasm, and real team spirit throughout the competition. "It was particularly inspiring to see girls who don't usually play cricket step up, embrace the challenge, and show what fantastic all-round sportspeople they are." The school said the victory highlighted the increasing interest in girls' cricket and showed how school sports can inspire young people to try new things and exceed their own expectations.
