Police are investigating a bomb threat at a hospital in Evanston, Illinois, where a suspicious package with wires protruding from it was found outside the building, according to officials. Surrounding areas were evacuated and a bomb squad was called to the scene. The response began at about 5:01 p.m. Tuesday at Endeavor Health Evanston Hospital, located at 2650 Ridge Avenue in the Chicago suburb following a reported bomb threat, according to the Evanston Police Department.
