By Alejandra Pulido-GuzmanLethbridge HeraldWith the Wastewater Treatment Plant needing an expansion, Lethbridge City Council gave a second and third reading to a borrowing bylaw during their Tuesday meeting. A 20 ML/D expansion is intended to meet current treatment demands while providing the additional capacity required to support projected population and industrial development. During Tuesday’s meeting the borrowing bylaw received second and third reading. Both second and third reading of the borrowing bylaw passed unanimously.
