Heat indices are into the triple digits across much of the region. Thegood news is that some relief from the heat is on the way, although it will take a day or two to filter into the area. So that being said, the current forecast leans towards a 30 percent chance of seeing something across northern Georgia. Relatively cooler and drier air is expected to begin filtering into northern Georgia by early morning. While heat indices should only reach into the 90s across North Georgia on Wednesday they will go soaring once again into the triple digits across portions of Middle Georgia.
