Police have launched investigations into the death of a female officer who was found with a gunshot wound inside a room at Kisii Central Police Station under circumstances that remain unclear. The officer, identified as Marjorie Bosibori, was discovered dead on the morning of Tuesday, July 29, with preliminary police findings indicating she sustained a gunshot wound. It was not until the following morning, when another officer went to open the room, that they discovered it was locked. They forced the door open and found the officer lying inside, with her firearm beside her," he added.
