National Night Out Against Crime events across NYC bring block parties, bikes, books and more this August

This year, there will be some extra stand-out activities planned at various events. At the 72nd Precinct’s event in Sunset Park, Brooklyn; participants will have a chance to win a free bike, while DJ Shug will be providing music at the 113th Precinct’s event at Baisley Pond Park. A bookmobile anniversary, local vendors and good eats at Rodney ParkLots of local community vendors will set up tables at the 90th Precinct’s event in Rodney Park. Dozens of NYPD police stations will participate in Night Out events across the boroughs this year.
