COUNCILLORS have approved £12,000 of funding to replace an access ramp at a local Scouts venue. The improvements have been earmarked for the 6th Lichfield Scout headquarters on Christchurch Lane. The Scout Hut was built in 2009 with a long wooden access ramp to the side of the building and leading to the main doors. This ramp acts as the main access route into the building. “Carrying out this work is essential in order to avoid having to close the building to all community group users.”
