SARATOGA SPRINGS, NY (WNYT) – NewsChannel 13 spoke with Saratoga Springs Police Sergeant Parker Wilson after police released body camera video from a dramatic rescue last week. Wilson and other police officers helped rescue 10 horses from a nearby barn during that deadly fire at the Saratoga Harness Track that killed 17 horses. Wilson said he was working as the desk sergeant back on June 16th at 2:30 a.m. at the Saratoga Springs Police Station when one of their 911 operators took a call about a large barn fire at the harness track.
