Runners, joggers, and walkers tackled the course in another display of strong community spirit. The field saw fierce competition at the front, with Matthew Brunnock of Western Tempo crossing the line first in 16:39, just edging out Charlie Jones, also of Western Tempo, who matched Brunnock’s time. The fastest women’s finisher was Charlotte Watkins in 20:49. Georgina Whitaker of Hereford Couriers RC claimed second in 22:17, followed closely by Claire Borg of Chelmsford AC with a time of 22:20. Twenty participants earned personal bests this week, a testament to the dedicated running community at Hereford Leisure Centre.
