Two caravans were spotted this evening (Tuesday, July 28) in a field next to the park off Grandstand Road and Chatsworth Road. No other vehicles appear to be visible in the area at this time. There are six official traveller sites in Herefordshire, including Watery Lane in Lower Bullingham, Open Fields in Linton, and Croft Lane in Luston. The largest site, Open Fields, has 12 pitches, while Watery Lane has 11 and is the closest to the city centre. Open Fields is said to have been refurbished in recent years, and the council describe the site as a "valuable asset" to the number of plots available within the county.
