Reckitt Benckiser, the company behind brands such as Dettol and Durex, says prices will rise to offset higher costs linked to the ongoing conflict in the Middle East. Chief executive Kris Licht said: "While still volatile, oil prices have moderated since then and we currently expect a reduced input cost impact in 2026. The company reported a 4.2 per cent rise in like-for-like sales of its core brands in the second quarter. It has maintained its full-year revenue growth forecast of 4 to 5 per cent, helping shares rise more than 5 per cent. However, oil prices have since eased.
