The Jamaica Stock Exchange conference which had been planned here for October 7-8 has been cancelled. The organisers have advised that the 3rd Investments and Capital Markets Conference Guyana has been cancelled due to circumstances beyond their control. The conference which was being held in association with the Georgetown Chamber of Commerce and Industry was to be held at the Pegasus Suites & Corporate Centre. Its intended theme was ‘Partnering for Market Development: Capital, Collaboration, Connectivity and Climate’. The 2nd Regional Investment and Capital Markets Conference was held here from October 8 – 9, 2024.
