Man dies, 78 people evacuated after fire breaks out at Hong Kong village house

A fire broke out at a village house in Hong Kong on Wednesday, leaving one man dead and forcing nearly 80 people to evacuate.
Authorities said they were alerted at around 4.30am to the blaze at a house made of metal sheets in Ling Shan Tsuen in Fanling.
Police said rescuers arriving at the scene found electrical wires burning.
Seventy-eight people were evacuated, in addition to four dogs and cats.
A man, estimated to be between 50 and 60 years old, was certified dead at the scene.
