Incoming NBA President, Oyinkansola Badejo-Okusanya, Meets Tinubu, Discusses E-Voting ReformsPresident-elect of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Oyinkansola Badejo-Okusanya, has revealed that her meeting with President Bola Tinubu centred on her election victory, the association’s electronic voting system and efforts to strengthen its internal processes. Speaking to journalists after a courtesy visit to the President at the State House in Abuja on Tuesday, Badejo-Okusanya said Tinubu congratulated her on emerging as the next president of the NBA and encouraged improvements in the association’s electoral process. Looking ahead to her inauguration at the end of August, Badejo-Okusanya said her immediate priority would be to reconcile aggrieved members and foster unity within the legal body. We’ll make sure that we put our house in order,” Badejo-Okusanya added. Badejo-Okusanya is expected to be sworn in as the 32nd President of the Nigerian Bar Association during the association’s Annual General Conference at the end of August.
