In a major land recovery operation, Hyderabad Development Authority (HYDRA) successfully reclaimed around 36 acres of prime government land valued at nearly Rs. The land, situated near the Kondapur RTA office under survey number 59, had been under illegal occupation for several years. Following a directive from the High Court, HYDRA carried out a massive eviction drive on Saturday to clear the encroachments. After completing the operation, HYDRA fenced off the recovered property and installed signboards clearly marking it as government land to prevent future encroachments. Officials said this action was part of a broader effort to protect valuable state assets from land grabbers and ensure proper urban development in rapidly growing parts of the city.
