Testimony continued Tuesday in the murder trial of Christopher Henderson. While seated in Howard’s car, an individual approached the car and fired shots into the passenger’s side of the vehicle, killing Rogers. Southerland said security footage shows Henderson in his car prior to scenes that show a person authorities believe is Henderson approaches the car and begins firing. "I believe in Mr. Henderson’s innocence in this matter.," Herring said during opening arguments. Henderson was a student at Gulf Coast Community College at the time of the murder and had returned to Vicksburg with Harvey to attend a family funeral.
