Two Western Weekender journalists have been nominated for prestigious honours at the Mumbrella Publish Awards.
Community and entertainment journalist Ally Hall has been nominated in the Young Writer of the Year category, which recognises emerging writers under the age of 30.
“We’re honoured that two of our writers have been nominated, and proud to continue to support local journalism.”
The Mumbrella Publish Awards gala ceremony will be held at The Eveleigh in Redfern on September 2, following the Mumbrella Publish Conference at the State Library of NSW.
Meanwhile, Western Sydney Publishing Group – publisher of The Western Weekender – has been nominated in the Excellence in Small to Medium Enterprise category at the upcoming WSABE Awards.
