The federal government is investing more than $1.2 million in two Dartmouth-based manufacturers: Site 20/20 Inc. and Atlantica Mechanical Contractors.
Announced on Monday, July 27, by Sackville-Bedford-Preston MP Braedon Clark, the repayable investment comes from the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency’s Regional Economic Growth through Innovation program.
“Dartmouth is home to innovative businesses that create good jobs and drive economic growth,” says Clark in a government press release.
“These investments will help Site20/20 expand its manufacturing capacity and enable Atlantica Mechanical Contractors to modernize its production floor, strengthening competitiveness, reducing waste and building sustainability for the future.”
Sean Fraser, the federal minister responsible for ACOA, says that the investments will “help Atlantic Canadian companies strengthen their competitiveness and reach new customers.”
