Varanasi, July 29: A large number of devotees gathered at the ghats of Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, to celebrate the auspicious occasion of Guru Purnima. Devotees from far and wide visit Kashi on Guru Purnima. He added that bathing in the Ganges on Guru Purnima brings peace of mind and a sense of positive energy. Aamar Singh, a devotee from Gorakhpur, remarked that Guru Purnima has held special significance since ancient times. Dinesh Chandrajoja, a devotee from Lucknow, shared his experience of bathing in the Ganges on Guru Purnima.
