Hempfield officials are looking into ways that a section of Route 819 can be studied after a fatal crash over the weekend. “People fly coming down the hill, they fly going up the hill, they exceed the signs, the signs are covered in brush. It can be difficult at times to get out of her driveway onto Route 819 because of speeding motorists, she said. The section of Route 819 referenced at Monday’s supervisors meeting is south of South Greensburg and runs through Armbrust. Hempfield manager Aaron Siko told supervisors he would consult with the township engineer to see what avenues exist for a traffic study.
