(Stock photo by Matheus Bertelli)Nexstar Media Group’s cable news channel NewsNation will examine the impact of artificial intelligence and other emerging technologies during a special two-hour town hall airing Tuesday night, the network said in a press release. “The Future is Now: A NewsNation Town Hall” will air from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. Eastern Time, with NewsNation host Chris Cuomo moderating the event before a live audience at the channel’s New York City studios. The broadcast will also include a live demonstration of walking and talking humanoid robots with Toborlife Robot Chief Technology Officer George Ekas. NewsNation said the town hall will explore whether society is prepared for the AI age, including questions about governance, technology companies and the global effects of automation. NewsNation will air encore presentations at midnight and 3 a.m. Eastern on Wednesday.
