The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has approved the promotion of 3,592 civil servants following the conclusion of the 2025 promotion exercise conducted by the FCT Civil Service Commission. This was disclosed by the Chairman of the FCT Civil Service Commission, Emeka Ezeh. According to him, the promotion exercise has been successfully completed. Ezeh also disclosed that Wike had directed the commission to begin the 2026 promotion exercise immediately to ensure that eligible workers are promoted without unnecessary delays. “Under this administration, it is a priority that FCT workers get promoted as and when due.
