MISSION VIEJO — The Long Beach Poly football team hung tough early but could not stop Mission Viejo’s passing attack in a 56-7 loss in a nonleague game Friday. Mission Viejo senior quarterback Luke Fahey, who is committed to Ohio State, completed 22 of 24 attempts for 329 yards and two touchdowns. Mission Viejo senior receiver Vance Spafford, who is committed to Miami, did not play due to injury.
