I felt myself obsessing over what-ifs and struggling with how to untangle myself from the future I was so excited for.
It felt almost cruel, then, amid one of the harshest winters, I found myself walking into a philosophy class titled Philosophy 298: A Good Life.
We didn’t bond over having similar lives; if anything, our experiences were completely different as we were on two different ends of the college experience spectrum.
College was adding to my life through the losses I experienced before January, and it was through my philosophy class that I was finally able to see this.
