City launches applications for small business incubator Space to Place

Applications are open to anyone operating a business within Evanston city limits, and business owners from “historically underrepresented communities” will receive priority, according to a Friday city news release.
“Outside of the hard numbers of their business and the description of what they sell, we’re really looking to dig into what sets these business owners apart,” Seizovic said.
It closes Aug. 5 at 11:59 p.m.For some Northwestern student entrepreneurs, Space to Place offers an opportunity to expand their businesses.
Each Space to Place business will receive around 100 square feet within the 3,000-square-foot marketplace.
