President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has congratulated the President-elect of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Mrs Oyinkansola Badejo-Okusanya, on her election while reaffirming the need to strengthen technology-driven electoral processes. The President-elect of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) also pledged to work with members and stakeholders to heal divisions within the legal profession and restore unity in the association ahead of her inauguration next month. She noted that the consultations are aimed at addressing concerns within the legal profession, rebuilding confidence among members, and ensuring the Nigerian Bar Association remains united in advancing its statutory responsibilities. “Everything that needs to be done, I can assure members and the public that I will do. Badejo-Okusanya, who recently emerged as the first woman elected President of the Nigerian Bar Association, is expected to be sworn into office at the end of August.
